Palinka (Hungarian: pálinka; Romanian: palincă) is a traditional type of brandy that is produced in Romania (Transylvania) and Hungary. It is usually made out plums, apples, pears or apricots and is double distilled. The contents of alcohol are between 50 and 65-70%.
