Saturday Night Live season 32

Saturday Night Live had its 32nd season in the 2006-2007 season. This season was after a huge budget cut that NBC ordered. Because of this, Lorne Michaels decided to not cut down on the episodes, but cut cast members and not hire new ones. Finesse Mitchell, Chris Parnell, and Horatio Sanz were dropped from the show between the 31st and the 32nd season. The show also lost Tina Fey, who left on her own to start her own show, 30 Rock. Rachel Dratch also left for 30 Rock also. The 32nd Season started on September 30, 2006 and ended on May 19, 2007. The season contained 20 live episodes.
