National Award:

It appears that he did not receive national awards for Swyamkrushi and Rudraveens. He got Nandi Awards (state level) awards for both these movies. He did get a Nargis Dutt Award for Rudraveena.

The name of the film is knodaveeti donga and not donga.

This article is definitely only a starter article. It needs more information on how much he makes, his popularity in other places besides AP like Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. His popularity is unmatched in AP and he has a solid fan base in places like Bangalore and Chennai. It also needs to be stressed that he is one of India's great actors as well as the magazine that stated he was Bigger than (Amitabh) Bachchan.

Based upon performance, dialogue delivery, stunt, action and glamour Chiranjeevi stands supreme in India followed by Amitabh Bachan and Rajni Kanth.

I doubt the year is 1979 for this movie. It has scenes with obvious references to Michael Jackson's Thriller music video which hadnt come out until 1983.

I think it is unnecessary to give the number of days the films ran as every movie of his runs for at least 100 days.

It is neccessary to list out the number of days since people ( young generation ) and history should know.

Adding Padma awards as Prefix

Padma awards (in this case PadmaBhushan) is an honor given by the Govt and is not a Title. It should not be used it as prefix to one's name. I edited to make it just "Dr. Chiranjeevi".

I don't think he got padmabhushan for an cause, every other person who got padmabhushan has done something to the society. Moreover he is involved in trade of human blood, which everybody knows.

he buddy, you have got it wrong. he provides free blood to poor & needy persons & 80% of the blood is given free of cost. they receive money from only corporate hospitals which is used 4 storing the blood & other expenses. the amount he gets from ads is completely used for his charity & moreover he has helped many ppl in need which hasnt seen the light. think practically buddy...if he doesnt help people do u expect him to be a demi god of andhra & enjoy such a stature.

no buddy u r completely wrong..CHIRANJEEVI will not give any blood freely to any body except to a person who donates blood to chiru's club.and 95% people doesnot know any phone number of chiru's blood bank because they will not give blood freely..he takes blood freely from his FAN's sell the blood to others to earn money.

It appears that he received Padma award in Arts & Social work category. Please correct your 1st line. with regard to Art category, no body can deny his services in this area (recently received legendary status from filmfare). withregard to social service, please refrain from making any unsubstantiated allegations. This is highly improper and was uncalled for. It is alrady that we have very few people doing "real" charity work in India, pelase donot smear their services by these allegations. I would recommend that you start doing something for your society.
