Arrieta (born June 9 1977, San Sebastián) is a Spanish/Pays Basque footballer.
Arrieta is best described as a "journeyman" striker who has played for 14 clubs in various countries including his native Spain, Portugal, Israel and now in England with Swindon Town.
The Spaniard joined Swindon Town on trial in the summer of 2007 including a pre-season mini-tour of Austria. Eventually, Swindon boss Paul Sturrock on Arrieta a two year contract in August 2007.
He made his debut as a 2nd half substitute on the opening day draw at Northampton Town.
