Kevin Sacre (born Kevin Bignell[citation needed] in 1978) is a British actor.

He is most famous for playing the role Jake Dean in the British Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks, which he has played since 2002[1].

He graduated from Middlesex University with a BA in performing arts. He had formerly wanted to do a degree in biochemistry, but changed his mind at the last minute.

He made a guest appearance on The Weakest Link alongside co-star and former girlfriend Ali Bastian. He has also had a role on the ITV soap Night and Day as Dennis Doyle. Sacre made a non-speaking cameo appearance in Ricky Gervais show Extras sitting behind Gervais' character at the BAFTA award ceremony.

Kevin dated co star Ali Bastian, who played his on-screen wife Becca Dean for two years, with the relationship ending in late 2005. The couple were extremely private about their relationship but were often quoted as being "extremely happy" together[citation needed]. Kevin still has a role in the soap Hollyoaks, but Bastian (Becca) was killed off.

Sacre is now in a relationship with cast mate Claire Cooper (Jacqui McQueen).[citation needed]

In early June 2006, Sacre contracted Hand, foot and mouth disease and had to take time off from filming Hollyoaks.[2].
