Jack Hemingway, the first son of American writer Ernest Hemingway was born on October 10th, 1923 in Toronto, Canada. He is also the father of actresses Margaux and Mariel Hemingway.
Nicknamed "Bumby", Jack spent his early years in Paris and the Austrian Alps. These years are described in A Moveable Feast, Hemingway's autobiography, published in 1964.
