Edo Maajka (born Edin Osmić on December 22, 1978 in Brčko, Bosnia and Herzegovina, SFRY) is the leading and most popular Bosnian rapper. He is also a member of the Bosnian rap group Disciplinska Komisija ("Disciplinary Commission").
Edo Maajka often raps about the contemporary political situation and the consequences of the Yugoslav wars. He unequivically represents the Bosniak (Bosnian Muslim) point of view regarding the war in Bosnia, although his songs are about the problems of all three main nations of the former Yugoslavia. For example, on "On je mladji" he raps about the son of a Croatian war veteran who has relationship with a Serb girl. He has released three albums and is working on his next album. His debut album was 2001's "Slušaj Mater", followed by 2004's "No Sikiriki", all of them on the Menart label in Zagreb.
He also worked on the soundtrack to the film Ljeto u Zlatnoj Dolini (Summer in the Golden Valley), directed by Srđan Vuletić. The soundtrack for the movie was released in 2003 as "Edo Maajka & Raja - Zlatna Dolina".
