Mark Bautista (born in August 10, 1983) is a Filipino singer and actor. He was a finalists of Philippine reality show Star For A Night and eventually placed second behind Sarah Geronimo.
Biography
Mark Bautista was born in August 10, 1983 to Darni Bautista and Susan Bautista. He grew up in Cagayan De Oro City along with his 4 siblings (older brother and sister and 2 younger brothers.)
He wasn't the total performer/entertainer that he is right now. He was indeed very shy during his childhood years and shy to share his beautiful voice. Mark's confidence started to take heights when he started joining various singing competitions.
He wanted to help his family so bad when his dad stopped working due to his condition. Every money that he had won in singing competitions was given to his parents to help them pay there financial needs. His shyness in singning in front of crowds lessen when he started singing publicly during his high school years. During in high school, he joined the band called Voizemale. They had various gigs in Cagayan De Oro and sung mostly the popular hits of Earth, Wind, & Fire and Backstreet Boys.
Close friends of Mark pursuaded him to audition a singing contest of ABS-CBN's MTB. Unfortunately, that wasn't his calling to stardom. After that, he continued to sing and improve his craft and his skills in singing in which he excells the most.
