McKinnon is a suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Its Local Government Area is the City of Glen Eira.
It contains various parks such as Wattle Grove Park and Allnutt Park.
McKinnon expanded in the early 1900s due to the McKinnon railway station. Some main roads include Wheatley Road, North Road, Centre Road, South Road, Jasper Road and Tucker Road.
McKinnon Road features McKinnon's main shopping strip.
It is considered a prestigious and sought after place to reside. This is mainly because it is in the zone of McKinnon Secondary Colledge, one of the top non-selective government schools in Victoria.
