Kokshaisk (Template:Lang-ru) is a village in Zvenigovsky District, Mari El, Russia. It is situared near the Mari village Kokshamary, on the left bank of the Bolshaya Kokshaga, where it flows into the Volga. Kokshaisk has a major pier on Volga. A road connects the village with Yoshkar-Ola (56 km) and Novocheboksarsk (34 km).

Then Tsaryovokokshaisk was founded in the Mari mainland and Kokshaisk lost it's importance. There were only 70 homesteads in Kokshaisk in 1724 and in 1765 it degraded to a village status. Territorially it belonged to Tsaryovokokshaisky uyezd of Kazan Governorate.
