Fine, but why revert to the old edit? I would like to see cited references for his being out for "over nine months." I actually did do some research on the matter, but the problem is finding a "reputable source" for that information other than some random web site of match listings. Is it really better to leave obviously inaccurate information in the article? [[User:68.159.209.34|68.159.209.34]] 21:26, 26 April 2007 (UTC) |

This professional wrestling article is a frequent target for editors to add a week-by-week synopsis of storyline events, unconfirmed information, rumors, and other content inappropriate to an encyclopedic article. Please make sure to familiarize yourself with what Wikipedia is not, and consider whether your additions to this article will serve to make the article larger and harder to edit for style, clarity, and grammar. |

Vital Statistics
I'm pretty sure Taz is not as tall as 5'9". Anybody got any good links?(Halbared 13:57, 3 June 2006 (UTC))
Yeah, he's definitely not 5'9". He's about 3-4 inches shorter than Jerry Lawler. Tazz is about the same height as Joey Styles.
Name
I am of the understanding that when Tazz came to WWE, Time Warner forced him to add the second "z" because his ECW spelling was the same as one of their cartoon characters. Can someone clarify this for me? Thanks. --JFred 17:59, 9 June 2006 (UTC)
I'm not sure if Time Warner forced him and WWE to do it, but I know that WWE wouldn't want to risk a law suit so I think they would have change his name anyways. TJ Spyke 21:15, 10 June 2006 (UTC)
- And by the looks of it, they are gonna keep the Tazz spelling even though he is now part of ECW again. --JFred 04:35, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
- That was my understanding (the added "z") as well. To keep it separate from the Looney Tunes' Tasmanian Devil. Though a citation may be in order. --EazieCheeze 09:05, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
Peter Senerchia
Should this article be moved to Peter Senerchia and the Tazz entry redirect to it? The naming standard tends to lend towards naming the article according to the wrestler's real name. --EazieCheeze 01:47, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
- it used to but the naming convention goes to the name he is mostly known by and in this case he has been called Tazz for nearly ten years --- Paulley
- Uh, Billy Kidman, Rey Mysterio, Rhyno - click on those and you'll see why there's something wrong with your argument. DonMEGĂ60645Talk|Contribs 14:17, 21 July 2006 (UTC)
- if you look until articles are put up for a vote to be moved they stay on real names... as for Mysterio the new spelling has only been used in WWE and the old spelling is used for his farther -- Paulley 12:17, 23 July 2006 (UTC)

Commentary
I notice that in this article, it doesn't say anything about how Tazz became a full-time commentator after he stoped wrestling for a while. Does anyone know how it happened? MB 05:44, 26 June 2006 (UTC)
Can someone put upa picture of him as taz! like mabey a picture of him at one night stand 2005 TheRealHBK
Son's name
Does anyone know the name of Taz'z son? Thanks.MgHoneyBee 03:21, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
Question
Sorry for asking stupid questions. But was Taz Heel or Face in ECW? Emilos 15:12, 10 March 2007 (UTC)emilos
He was both at varying points. Bmg916 Speak to Me 15:16, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
Current Location
According the Massapequa article on Wikipedia, apparently he currently resides in Massapequa, New York which is on Long Island. Is that a true statement? If it is it should be added to this page or if its false it should be removed from the other page. Julie 00:49, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
It is a true statement. I added it. 24.191.99.78 04:48, 29 March 2007 (UTC)24.191.99.78

1995 Injury
I think there is some confusion about his 1995 neck injury, perhaps due to exaggeration on the part of ECW at the time and Taz himself. The injury in question took place on July 20, 1995, in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Taz returned on September 16, 1995, in a six-man tag team match teaming with the Steiner Brothers against The Eliminators and Jason Knight. His first singles match back was on October 5, 1995. I don't know the true nature of the injury, but I'm fairly certain that he could not have recuperated a broken neck in two months time. Also, he had already dropped the Tazmaniac "wildman" gimmick before the injury. I updated the paragraph in question with what I believe to be correct. —The preceding comment was added by NakedRedneck (talk • contribs) 10:18, 26 April 2007 (UTC).
You cannot update or edit something with what you "believe to be correct" all material is not based on what someone thinks they remember. It needs to be cited by a reputable independent published source. Please read WP:A, WP:V, and WP:BLP. Bmg916SpeakSign 14:54, 26 April 2007 (UTC)
