Plot

After her fiancé David (Naveen Andrews) is murdered, Erica Bain (Jodie Foster) begins to hunt for the possible suspects with a view to exacting lethal vengeance. Whilst being pursued by Det. Mercer (Terrence Howard), Bain begins to display precisely the murderous characteristics which wrought her life asunder when the life of her fiancé was taken.
