The song continues with the hard rock/alternative metal sound that Disturbed had developed during the albums Believe and Ten Thousand Fists, although it doesn't contain any guitar solos featured on some songs from the latter. This is the first track recorded by Disturbed since their singer David Draiman's surgery in late 2006.
