Yoomba is a peer-to-peer network that sits on top of the existing email networks and applications. It is an open communications network. It was started by Internet entrepreneurs Elad Hemar and Ronen Babayoff who wanted to offer an open communications experience, making it as easy as possible to talk to everyone, for free. This introduced a new concept called "Calling emails". Before Yoomba, online communications existed as part of closed networks. To communicate with contacts on multiple networks, users were required to join each network, register, download programs, as well as to search and add contacts to each network one by one. Yoomba is changing this by providing the ability to call emails, and chat with emails - from your exisiting applications, such as Outlook, Outlook Express, Gmail, Yahoo Mail, Hotmail in a universal way.

BlazingPC.com is a website especially for overclocking. It has a small member count as of now, but is slowly growing.

The site is a very calm relaxed place. It has many reputable members and everyone helps everyone out. BlazingPC is more of a family than just a bunch of nerds helping eachother out.

What is on the site?

We have many sections. All of them having something to do about computers. Whether its your first time overclocking or you just want to learn more we have it. BlazingPC has sections on AMD, Intel, Nvidia. It has sections on speakers, sound systems, PVR's, and even just a relaxed off topic section.

Granny Women

Granny Women were healers and midwives in Southern Appalachia and the Ozark Mountains, documented as practicing from the 1880s to the 1930s. They were usually elder women in the community and were often the only practitioners of healthcare in the poor rural areas of Southern Appalachia. They seldom expected or received payment, and were respected as authorities on herbal healing and childbirth.

Necessity of Granny Women

In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, few doctors practiced in rural Southern Appalachia. The few physicians that practiced were often poorly trained, inept, and even dangerous through most of the nineteenth century. Civil War doctors, for example, had no knowledge of germs, did not endeavor to keep their hands clean, and often explained away disease as the will of God. The quality of their education varied widely, and states lacked uniform licensing requirements. [1] With few effective drugs available, doctors often gave patients purgatives and emetics, believing that the causes of illness could be forced out through the stomach. Most rural Americans preferred the gentler and more familiar herbal remedies provided by Granny Women.

Oral Tradition

Granny Women’s medicine was handed down orally from generation to generation, in a time and region where most women were illiterate. Granny Women usually learned remedies and healing methods from other women healers, either family members or neighbors. Much of the original healing knowledge was learned from the Cherokee and Creek Indians of the South, and incorporated into the medicine of Granny Women.

Reliance on Herbal Medicine

Granny Women were experts of local pharmacology, and had a sophisticated knowledge of local plants. They knew how much of each ingredient to use, how long to boil, and how much to administer. They knew whether the herb should be decocted (boiled), infused (not boiled) or demulsified (used in an ointment). Their medicine often called for the leaves of a plant to be used for one ailment, the roots for another, and the berries for another. Granny Women knew how to process each herb or plant so as not to affect its potency, exactly when to harvest each plant, and how to avoid harmful side affects that accompanied each plant. [2]

The following is a traditional plant-based medicine for whooping cough:

1 ounce fresh red clover blossoms 1 pint boiling water 1 cup honey

Boil blossoms in water and strain. Add honey; bottle. Dosage: 1 teaspoon twice daily.

Granny Women as Midwives

At the turn of the century, granny-women attended to roughly fifty percent of the births in Southern Appalachia. [3] During the late 19th century and early 20th century, childbirth was dangerous, and Granny Women played and integral role in the survival or women in rural areas. [4] Even when a doctor was called to attend a birth, the baby was often made before he could make the trip to a rural home; thus, mothers often had a Granny Woman in attendance in case the doctor was delayed. In instances where the doctor attended the birth, Granny Women often still assisted, as there were no trained nurses available at the time. Granny Women were not formally trained in midwifery, though those that were literate often carried a “midwife’s book” to reference during complicated births. [5] Granny women used a variety of techniques during the delivery, including superstitious rituals, pharmaceuticals, and herbal remedies. Often, Granny Women used rituals designed to give mothers psychological relief, such as having a woman hold her husband’s hat to symbolically bring him into the delivery room. Some other uses of ritual were placing an axe under the bed to symbolically “cut” the pain, or opening all the windows in the house to symbolically open the birth canal. Granny Women often used herbal remedies, such as blackberry tea to prevent hemorrhaging, raspberry tea to relax the uterine muscles, or slippery elm bark to speed delivery. [6] In addition to these plant medicines, Granny Women often relied on pharmaceuticals such as laudanum, morphine, and quinine, which were readily available at local drugstores. When a mother’s pain became unbearable, Granny Women were not opposed to offering a morphine tablet. Granny Women, unpaid and having nothing to gain from speedy labors, were far less likely than doctors to use forceps, and generally allowed nature to take its course. [7] Unlike doctors, Granny Women did not see their work as being complete once a mother had delivered a child, and often stayed to care for the newborn and the recovering mother. Thus, Granny Women provided a quality of care that physicians could not.

Decline in Number of Granny Women

As physicians grew in number during the early twentieth century and more rural residents had access to conventional medical care, the number of practicing Granny Women swiftly declined. The developing medical profession began to insist upon formal education, standard examination procedures, and licensing requirements for all practicing physicians and healers. The great majority of Granny Women, having no formal training and often illiterate, were unable to meet these new requirements. Some historians believe that paid physicians, seeing Granny Women as competition, launched a deliberate campaign to force them out of practice. Sandra Barney states, “If doctors were to be seen as the only legitimate childbirth attendants, they had to encourage mothers, and by extension their families, to reject midwifery and embrace modern, scientific medicine.” [8] Physicians accomplished this goal by enlisting “volunteers from their social and economic class to assist them in reshaping expectations about health and healing.” [9] While some Granny Women may have continued to practice healing in secret, by the early 1900s, few were visible in their communities.

Cinematographism is a religion begun in 2007. To subscribe to it one choses to look at the world in a different way every day. Its underlying philosophy is where one choses to see the beauty that exists within even the ugliest of places/situations. It's an optimistic religion where you value chaotic structure, geometry, beauty, and where everything has motivation behind it. Members believe that nothing is done just for the sake of it, but rather that there is intentionality to everything you do.... it attempts to "make the world a better place."

It began not only the creation of an organization, but also a filmic canon to adhere to and not just book/film/etc., but an all-encompassing way of life. Some of the founding theories came from celebrated filmmakers such as dziga vertov, mikhail Kaufman, and Boris Kaufman and the theories of kivo-pravda http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kino-Pravda.

Two chapters are starting up currently. There is one in the West Coast located in San Diego, CA, and one on the East Coast located in New York City, NY.

Slow Joe Doyle is a former major league pitcher who is currently dead. He is most recognized for his work with the NY Yankees. He still holds the record for most innings pitched to start a Yankees career before giving up a run.Doyle would sometimes lie down on the tarpaulin and nap, but he earned his nickname by being one of the slowest workers ever to take the mound. In addition to stalling, he relied on a "drop" (a sinker), a "raise ball," and a spitter. The band existed when they were 10. Sadly they broke up because, well, 10 year olds can't make a band.

The name is derived from the word "After" AFTER: *subsequently: happening at a time subsequent to a reference time;

after(a): located farther aft;

The name was chosen because they "practised" AFTER church* (*Bear in mind they were 10)

They had one "real" practice.

Ness(Vanessa) made the band keep folders with her band newsletters, updates, quiz, stamp funding reports, logo concepts, a piece of paper signed by all members, practice timetables, meeting minutes, and monthly joke... but no music.

Jordan designed the final logo

The Kodak Easyshare C875 is a digital camera offered from the Kodak Eastman company in countries such as Australia and America. It was one of the first truly affordable digital cameras that included an 8 mega-pixel reolution CCD coupled into a slim body with 5X optical zoom. Many consumers preferred the Kodak cameras due to the ease of use, amongst other factors, but a lot of previous models were either too expensive or under-powered to peoples needs.

The cameras specifications also inclde a 2.5" LCD screen, on-camera cropping, panoramic image stitiching, red-eye removal and an iso of 800 - quite high for a camera of the sort released in 2006. It was also one of the first true consumer point-and-shoot models to include the PASM (programme, appature, shutter, manual) mode which mirrored the use of many high-end film & digital cameras.

The camera first came on sale in Australia in October 2006, and though originally retailed at $399.00 AUD, within a few months that price included a Kodak Camera Dock/Printer, before the price later continued to drop as competing companies also released similar cameras.

Naruto:Rise of the Ninja is a Xbox360 based video game developed by Ubisoft Montereal. Making this Naruto game the first game not based on a Japanese gaming system. The game is mostly based of the English version of the anime, and is set to be released in North America October 2007. To choose the original Japanese cast is optional. The player will be able to roam around Konoha freely. The main story line will take plce at the begining of the series all the way to the Invasion of Konoha arc. The game willl feature a Prince of Persia type of game play mixed with Naruto: Clash of Ninja brawls. Xbox live will be available but the players will be able to choose their favorite character and use them. The game will also have downloadable content hinting towards new characters says Xboxyde.com

The Kodak Easyshare C875 is a digital camera that is currently for sale from the Kodak Eastman company in countries such as Australia and America. It was one of the first truly affordable digital cameras that included an 8 mega-pixel resolution CCD coupled into a slim body with 5X optical zoom. It has appeal to many photography novices & families as it's low price does not mirror it's high-end specifications.

The camera also incldes a 2.5" LCD screen, on-camera cropping, panoramic image stitiching, red-eye removal and an iso of 800 - quite high for a camera of the sort released in 2006. It was also one of the first true consumer point-and-shoot models to include the PASM (programme, appature, shutter, manual) mode which mirrored the use of many high-end film & digital cameras. This feature enabled many camera beginners to learn more about advanced photography, and later branch out towards more high-end devices.

The camera first came on sale in Australia in October 2006, and though originally retailed at $399.00 AUD, within a few months that price included a Kodak Camera Dock/Printer, before the price later continued to drop as competing companies also released similar cameras, allowing families and novices to have an even bigger choice when capturing everlasting memories.

Since then, other cameras have been released from Kodak, with a notable compedator the EasyShare Z1275 which is basically the same, but with High Definition video capture and a higher mega-pixel count.

A standard SD card slot was included for image storage, and this is arquably one of the most popular storage formats in the world. The format coupled perfectly with all digital image printing services, allowing people to quickly and easily have their photographs printed.

Other features that benefited everyday people include: automatic red-eye reduction and the abilty to create panoramic shots. This further pushed novices into the realm of advanced creative photography and could even be arguably regarded as a milestone for the camera industry.

After college he went to Copenhagen to join the army, after which he started to work at an event agency. Following this Christian went on to live for almost two years in Malaysia, where he studied and worked. After Malaysia Christian went on to study in London for 4 years and then moved up to Newcastle upon Tyne to work for a PR agency. Luke Thoburn (b. 8/12/81) is a KHQ employee and a television news producer. He has been producing the KHQ morning show, which runs from 5 am to 7 am weekly, Monday through Friday. Mr. Thoburn has also written four books, including Glimpse, Summer of Syndication, An Anthem to Apathy, and Diamonds in the Void.

Luke is a writer of both screen and novels. His latest screenplay, Tube Jockey's has garnered interest from the Executive Producer of Lost, notable ABC television show starring Matthew Fox and Evangaline Lily. The Exec Producer, Javier Grillo, stated that the script shows great promise and wishes to further pursue funding.

Luke's screenplay A Modest Proposal, was purchased by the film production company FastTrack Productions, but has not yyet been produced. His screenplay The Dramedy of Adrian Crenshaw was a screenplay of interest on the Francis Ford Coppola sponsored website zoetrope.com.

Comment. Although previously declined for creation, I've resubmitted this redirect as I recieved no responce after being requested to provide a reason for this redirect. If an editor would read the article, Jeff Warner, his ringname was Maxx Muscle while competing in World Championship Wrestling during the 1990s. Redirects from professional wrestlers stage names to real names seems to be a reasonable and approprite reason for a redirect. If I'm misinterpreting Wikipedia's naming conventions, I apologize however similar redirects I've proposed have been approved.

I have accepted this request, however, be aware that this page was previously deleted. Most likely reason was it either was done before the Jeff Warner article was made, or the connection to the two was not made. However, I also have found other businesses named Maxx Muscle (most notably a gym) so if, in the future, the name becomes an issue, another editor may reverse this decision, or create a disambiguation page. She was then found out to be a hermaphrodite and attracted many males.(this fact is not true) She may look okay because her hair is covering her face, though if tied back, she would look unattractive. But the fact is that she attracts many men because of her welcoming response in every approach. Though it seems she is only looking for friends, unintentionally, she gives hope to other men and making them think she feels the same way as the men. Until she once wrote about something in a blog in intention to get rid of the men indirectly. Luckily she has a good friend who always supports her and that pities her. But it turned out this friend also liked her. Her act is of pure evil.... She likes to read, eat etc.

A lovely golden retriever dog that will seek it's destiny in a few weeks due to a disease that is probably incurable. The dog is the best dog a trainer would want as he listens of every word of his master. Hopefully the disease will deplete in this 1 week of testing because results are not yet 100% accurate. Thus we will have to pray for this lonely dog which would probably rest in peace except if the disease is found to be curable in the next few days.

Using a delicate mixture of salvaged and new materials, Catskill Farms been providing a brand new 100 year old houses. While capturing the charm, beauty and character of the early 1900’s, all the hassles and maintenance related to an old house are elimated. Catskill Farms is recreating that lonely old house on the hill – think the Waltons or the Little House on the Prarie, or any of those old photos featuring turn of the century American architecture – with the wrap-around porches, old stone foundations, wood siding, and a horse tied out front.

His Holiness Jagadguru Late Sri Mallikarjuna Murugharajendra Mahaswamiji, became the head of the Sri Murugharajendra Math in the year 1964. Sri Swamiji being a profound scholar in Sanskrit, Philosophy and Literature of Shiva Sharanas took initiative to start an educational society in the name of S.J.M. Vidyapeetha in the year 1966. This Vidyapeetha was to provide educational and employment opportunity to the students and educated people from all parts of Karnataka and the country. This S.J.M. Vidyapeetha has now grown into a big institution with the co-operation of the disciples of the Math in particular and citizens of Karnataka in general. As on today there are 132 educational institutions which include First Grade Colleges(08), Pharmacy College(01), Medical College & Hospital(01), Engineering College(01), Dental College and Hospital(01), Polytechnics(03) and High Schools, Primary Schools and Pre Primary Schools.

Sri Mallikarjuna Murugharajendra swamiji died on august 8, 1994. Leela visranti dhama, built at the burial site of late swamiji at Holalkere, Chitradurga district, Karnataka.

Restoration of the Monarchy ([3]) is a fashion brand created by Eric Villency. The name originated from the historical, British era referred to as: ‘The Restoration.’ In 1660 the English Parliament restored Charles II to the British thrown, ending the British Commonwealth and resulting in the repeal of strict Puritan laws and censorship. The name of the fashion line is based on the belief in benevolent leadership and the freedom to choose and express oneself. The line launched in September of 2007 with a men's and women's denim line. Julia Restoin-Roitfeld, daughter of Carine Roitfeld, is the face of the ad campaign, which ran exclusively in Purple Magazine. The ad campaign was art directed by Olivier Zham, Purple Magazine's Editor-in-Chief.

With the announcement of WiiFit at E3, many questions came to mind. For example: What will WiiFit bring to my living room that isn’t already there? Do I really need to pay to do pushups in my living room? And most importantly…Does it work?

And that is where the idea for the challenge came to life.

At the launch of WiiFit in January my friend (W) and I (M) will be taking the “WiiFit Challenge”. For three months we will use WiiFit for our exercise and adjust our diets to match. We will track our progress here on the site and hopefully by the end of the three months we will see some changes.

Not only are we challenging WiiFit, but we are competing against each other to see who will be more “WiiFit” at the end of the three months.

Constance Wu is an American Actress. She has played supporting roles in the films Stephanie Daley, Year of the Fish, and The Architect. In television, she appeared on Law and Order: SVU and currently plays the role of "Laudine Lee" on the ABC show One Life to Live. Her films have been shown at Sundance Film Festival, Tribeca Film Festival, and many others. She has appeared in films/tv with such notable actors as Anthony LaPaglia, Tilda Swinton, Amber Tamblyn, Timothy Hutton, Connie Nielsen, Christopher Meloni, and Hayden Panettiere. She is from Richmond, Virgina.
