Please understand that my edits are to make the article more factual - in the US and under the ADA the term is "service animal" commonly referred to as a service dog. Some international groups might prefer the term "assistance dog" but that is not the proper term under the ADA. It is only US centric as the ADA is a US law and much of the information comes from US organizations.
