The seventh season of Degrassi: The Next Generation has been announced as of April 2007. Season 7 has been approved and ordered and will have 24 episodes. It is said that season seven will be the second half of the senior class of Degrassi's senior year. The season will premiere on October 5, 2007 with two back-to-back episodes.
