Beryl Mercer (13th August, 1882- 28 July 1939) was a Spanish born American actress of the 1920s and 1930s.

Mercer was best known for her motherly roles in film and regularly appeared as a grandmother or cook or maid in some high profile films. She actively appeared in over 50 films between 1916 and 1939 but her career was at a peak in the early to mid 1930s where she regularly starred in between 5 - 10 pictures a year.

In 1933 she appeared in Cavalcade as a cook and the following year made appearances in Jane Eyre and The Richest Girl in the World which went on to be nominated for an Academy Award for Best Script the following year in 1935.

She died in Santa Monica in 1939.
