The 2007-08 Boston Bruins season will be the 81st season of NHL hockey in Boston. It is scheduled to begin in October. The Bruins will enter the 07-08 season with a new head coach after the team chose to relieve Dave Lewis of his duties shortly before the 2007 draft.[1]

Long Beach Ice Dogs

On 18 June, 2007, during the ECHL Board of Governors Annual Meeting, the Long Beach Ice Dogs membership in the ECHL was immediately terminated due to the Long Beach ownership group being unable to continue to operate in 2007-08.[3]
