Death note

I recall reading the producer of this movie is a Death Note fan, so it could indeed be a homage rather than a blatant ripoff. I'm off to find a source. Serious Business indeed.

Um, Wikipedia is an encyclopedia. It is not a soap box. If the creators of Death Note wish to sue, that is their matter. However, bear in mind, there is no such thing as an entirely original idea. All ideas are based off of something. Drumpler 10:42, 27 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Death note

This is a hugge ripoff of Death Note and lifetime should fire who ever made it. And to make matters worse from looking at the trailer not only did they ripoff death note but they made it worse! Taking a series that is a SciFi/Crime Drama/Thriller featuring some of the most intelligent character writing in an anime and turning it into teen angst garbage with heavy Christian overtones? Dominique's last name

I'm not entirely sure, but I believe Dominique is something like Davis or Davies. I thought that's what was on her father's headstone.
