The Family Name ‘Sieroversche’ is one of the variations on the old Family Name ‘Zur Oweste’, that originated in the `Johanniter` Township Lage Rieste of Germany since the year 1341.
This Family was closely connected to Sovereign Military Order of Malta, who they served as Yeoman Esquires since that year 1341 till 1834 and by what they were considered to belong to the Untitled Nobility of their region. For their services they received an inherited right of an Estate of 46 acres land with 3 subjugated farms in Rieste from what they obtained their Family Name.
This Family Name `Zur Oweste` contain two parts; first the prefix `Zur` what ment `To the` or `On the` and was an honorable prefix. The second part of the Family Name `Oweste` or `Ovest` ment `East`. So translated the name ment `to the East`.

Johann Heinrich Zur Oeveste
Johann Heinrich Zur Oeveste, born 19 October 1801 in the Village Rieste in Germany. He died on 2 March 1878 in White Creek Indiana. He married on 19 November 1839 in Cincinnati with Regina Louise Geist. During his live he was Farmer at White Creek Indiana and founder of the church there. Today his name is Worldwide known through the 31 letters that he send to his parents from America and that are regarded as an very importend document of the Colonisation History of Armerica.

Albert Rudolphus Zuroweste, Bishop van Belleville born 26 April 1901 in East Saint Louis as a son of Henry Zueroweste and died 28 March 1987 in the Decant Belleville. From 29 November 1947 up to 30 Augustus 1976 Bishop of Belleville at Illinois USA. To honour his
