Frick's Lock, Pennsylvania is a former village located in present-day East Coventry Township, Pennsylvania in Chester County, on the banks of the Schuylkill River. The village was built upon the river industry and a canal system helped the growth of Frick's Lock. When the canal was drained in the 1930s the town fell into a state of disrepair. It was completely abandoned after the Philadelphia Electric Company decided to build the Limerick Nuclear Power Plant across the river. It decided that the town would not be safe to live in, bought the houses and just left them.
