The '''International [[Field Archery]] Association''', also know as the IFAA is an amateur sports association that was founded in 1968 and now represents some 20 000 to 25 000 field archers in 26 member countries from all over the world. We are proud of our World and Continental events that allow for participation of all our affiliated archers, irrespective of how well they can shoot. Most of our tournaments exceed 400 entries and some of them even exceed 600. Our game is marked [[Field archery]] events, shooting at paper target faces over known distances and unmarked Bowhunter events, shooting at either paper faces or 3D targets over unknown distances.
