Notability

Heya, citing a band's own website does not in any way show notability. Please very carefully read WP:N before removing the cleanup tag. It needs to cite RELIABLE SECONDARY sources. This means nothing connected to the band, fan websites, forums, etc... - superβεεcat  22:05, 22 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Great job providing sources and satisfying notability. Looks great! - superβεεcat  22:48, 22 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, you were very polite to superbeecat, but it seems to me that he/she is too enthusiastic about deleting articles as they are being started. I would be interested to know if very many article writers are feeling harassed, rather than helped by this approach Cuvtixo 19:36, 24 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • I am myself a moderator of many forums & i can relate to her way of approach. As long as we have the conviction that the work being done is genuine, i dont think it matters about anyone's over enthusiasm. I dont have any problems with her/him. Please try to avoid politics on Wikipedia & avoid vandalism as well(your poem at superbeecat's page). Thx :) --Doc sameer 19:49, 24 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Merging

If you feel strongly that it should stay and be expanded, then I can respect that. It's actually good that you do, because as it is I had completely forgotten the whole issue. My main request would be that information relevant to how all Muslims view it be added, as the nafs is important to a number of Islamic movements in addition to many Sufis. Let me know what you think, and don't ever feel shy to poke your nose in, as we're all here to improve the articles. MezzoMezzo 00:35, 2 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have to admit, I am a bit pensive about that. While I think it would be a great idea and in an ideal world would love to help you and other editors with that, I also know that my endorsement will bring certain expectations upon me as far as getting motivated and doing work goes. You have my tacit support for the time being, though. MezzoMezzo 04:36, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Atif Aslam

Thanks for contributing to Atif Aslam's wiki. Can you believe, he didn't had a page just 24 hours ago!!!

Your signature

Per policies, could you please tone your signature down? Its a little too loud. Current:

I suggest:

Leprosy sections

You are entirely correct that WP:MEDMOS#Sections calls for Causes/Genetics sections to appear early in an article. "Genetics" in this usage, however, is usually regarding human genetic factors that influence a disease state or progression. For example, in the leprosy article if we had a significant section on the genetic changes that lead to increased susceptibility to M. leprae, that section would go exactly where you indicated. In this particular case, however, the genetics of M. leprae actually belong in the Mycobacterium leprae article, not the leprosy one and I've moved the section there. Note that the above is my opinion - if you have a different viewpoint that I have missed, please leave me a note here so we can discuss it. Thank much. -- MarcoTolo 01:06, 20 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

MCOTW

Thank you for your support of the Medicine Collaboration of the Week.
This week Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease was selected.
Hope you can help…
