I feel like there ought to be a page dedicated to discussion of the _stable_ homotopy groups of spheres, in isolation from the unstable case. (At the moment, the page for _stable_ redirects to Homotopy Groups of Spheres.) I don't know all that much about it (since I'm not a homotopy theorist), but I know the theory underlying the computation of the stable stems is quite rich and technical, to the extent that it makes sense to discuss it in a separate place from the "naive" (meant non-perjoratively) theory of the unstable groups. Any thoughts, please let me know. Especially if you want to write the article. ;) --[[User:Artie p|Artie p]] 16:01, 26 June 2006 (UTC)
