The girls are picked up on a decked out bus in New York where they meet each other and start sizing up the competition.
When they get off the bus, they meet Tyra for the first time, then go straight onto a show. Their first runway show is held on a US Marines ship. April makes a mistake that could cost her, until Jenascia steps in to save her. Tyra watches the girls and comments, "They really don't know what they're doing."
That evening they go to their new home. It is a funky, modern, blinged out suite. They then go to a fancy restaurant, where Camille says that the other girls were embarrassing her.
At the Adam and Eve themed nude photo shoot the girls are required to model wearing only sequins and body paint. This doesn't go over well with Anna and she decides not to participate. Jenascia oversleeps and comes in late for the shoot.
