The logo of long running british sci-fi television show Doctor Who is known to change from season to season. Each Logo is very different. Up until th revival in 2005 it was tadition for the show to get a new logo each series. However the new series' logo seems to be stationary, (apart from some slight changes in between series two and three,) and unlikely to change with the next series.
Logo One
Used from 1963 to 1966
The First Doctor's logo was a simple text, white on a black background, it was simple due to the low budget that Doctor Who was originally on, for more information on the first season see article; The First Doctor
Colour Scheme: Grayscale
Shape:Basic Text
Logo Two
used from 1966–1969
As Patrick Troughton took over, the logo's text changed to Times new roman, Though it remain white on a black background. This was again simple owing to low budget, although as the show began to grow in poularity, the budget grew. See article: The Second Doctor
Colour Scheme: Grayscale
Shape:Basic Text
Logo Three
used from 1970–1974
When Jon Pertwee began his term as The doctor, the logo changed drastically for the first time, colour was introduced, (mainly because the show changed from black and white to colour) and the text was once again altered. By this time the budget was high enough for better graphics. See article: The Third Doctor
Colour Scheme: Pale Blue, Green
Shape:Basic Text
Logo Four
used from 1974–1981
[The Fourth Doctor's logo is the one that is still remembered today, and can still be found on murchandising, It incorpaorates a diamond shape into the equation. See article: The Fourth Doctor
Colour Scheme: Red, Orange, Yellow
Shape:Diamond
Logo Five
used from 1981–1984
The Fifth Doctor's logo was again changed, this time into a neon light style fashion, This time ridding itself of the diamond that so many remember. See article: The Fifth Doctor
Colour Scheme: Blue
Shape:Rounded Text
Logo Six
used from 1984–1986
This logo was the same as the Fifth, But the colour was chnaged from blue to Purple. See article: The Sixth Doctor
Colour Scheme: Purple
Shape:Rounded Text
Logo Seven
used from 1987–1996
Computer technology was ever advancing, and this more High-tech style logo was all the range for the Seventh Doctor. See Article: The Seventh Doctor
