Theodor Zincke (May 19, 1843 - March 17, 1928) was a German chemist an the academic adviser of Otto Hahn.
Life
Theodor Zincke was born in Uelzen on May 19, 1843. He became pharmacist and graduated in Göttingen with his Staatsexamen. He started studying chemistry with Friedrich Wöhler and received is Ph.D in 1869. He joinded the group of August Kekulé at the University of Bonn and in 1875 he became professor at the University of Marburg where he staid until his retirement in 1913. Theodor Zincke died March 17 1928 in Marburg.
