Helsinki Fair Centre

The Helsinki Fair Centre (Finnish: Helsingin Messukeskus, Swedish: Helsingfors Mässcentrum) is the biggest and most famous fair centre in Finland. It is located in the capital city of Helsinki.

The fair centre is located in eastern part of the district of Pasila, a short walk northwards from the Pasila railway station. Visitors to the center usually stay at the Holiday Inn hotel located immediately next to the fair centre.

The fair centre holds many different trade shows every year. Some of these have included fishing, travelling and home decoration fairs. The centre has also hosted the Assembly demo party for many years, before it moved to the Hartwall Areena. On September 10-11 2006, the centre hosted the 2006 ASEM meeting.
