Dave Klein is an American cinematographer best known for working with director Kevin Smith on the films Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy and, most recently Clerks II. He is also the cinematographer of choice for James Franco having DPed his three movies Fool's Gold, The Ape and Good Time Max.

He also played five acting roles in the original Clerks and one in Mallrats.
