This is a WikiProject on the Middle Ages, for those Wikipedians interested in that middle age of the earth's history, sometimes known as Medievalists, or Wikimedievalists when in "Rome."

Scope

Initially the purpose of the project is to provide a common place to gather on the broad subject of the Middle Ages. To that end goals include:

  • Provide a forum to introduce yourself as a contributor to articles on the Middle Ages.
  • Provide a forum to announce new or renovated articles on the Middle Ages that may be of interest to the rest of the group.
  • Suggestions, resolutions, questions, and project creations, best practices HOWTO creation, etc.. all TBD.

The period is anything that could be defined as Middle Ages which typically could be anything from the Fall of Rome to the 16th Century. Use your best judgement, there are no hard chronological or geographic boundaries, as much as thematic ones.

Discussion forums

^ - renovated articles are not "new" but have been re-written/expanded so that they are in effect mostly new.
