The Pink Panther is a 1993 animated television series; a co-production of MGM animation, Mirisch-Geoffrey DePatie-Freleng and United Artists, this version stars the legendary hip feline in new adventures, but this time he talks (with the voice of Matt Frewer).
Alongside the panther are his longtime friends and co-stars from other DFE shorts The Inspector, The Ant and the Aardvark and The Dogfather, but not "The Little Man" who was a co-star in the original panther cartoons alongside the cool cat. Also, some new characters were created for the show, including a mask-wearing tribal witch doctor.
The show was nominated for a daytime Emmy award in 1994 for Outstanding Achievement in Music Direction and Composition.[1]
