I removed a reference to Ken Follet's 'Pillars of the Earth' from this article. The reference claimed that the story was set in the town, but according to Follet's own FAQ ( http://www.ken-follett.com/faq/ ) the Kingsbridge of the book 'Kingsbridge and its people are fictional...Kingsbridge is located roughly where the present-day town of Marlborough in Wiltshire is.'.
