Template:BD (Born - Died) is for adding the categories for births and deaths in a certain year (ie. 1935 births, 1994 deaths).
- Usage
- {{ BD | year of birth | year of death |Name to be sorted as }}
- notes
- If the year of death is left blank (ie. {{BD|1945||Body, Some}} then the category:Living people is used in place of year died.
- The name to be sorted as is most often in the form of Last name, First name. If this field is left blank, the page name is used.
- This template includes the default sort tag {{DEFAULTSORT:name sorted by}}. Other categories still need sort tags, because the one here is not visible.
