Stayley Hall in Stayley (grid reference SJ97579969) is a Grade II* Listed Building. The structure dates to at least the 16th century – it appears on maps from 1577 and 1580 – but may be older. Stayley Hall is referred to in the accounts of Sir Ralph Staveley in the early 15th century. The hall was originally timber framed, but was stone clad during the 17th century.[1]
