::Agreed. We don't know if this is just a plot idea being thrown around, or not. Anyways, there are so many Warriors books planned, it probably won't be out until 2009. We should put it up when there's more info. All we have to go on now is a tiny "maybe". That is not enough to create an article. She ''did'' announce it; I was at that very tour. She said there were going to be two new special editions (when one person asked if there were going to be any more). One was going to be about Bluestar's past, including the whole first series (so we get an insider's look at her madness during ''Rising Storm'' and ''A Dangerous Path''). The other would be about the early Clan cats. I don't have a reference, but I can tell you that they are real books. |

Dark River release date
I've heard rumors that The Dark River will be released Oct. 2007, Dec. 26, 2007 and Jan. 2008. Both the main article and the Dark River article itself have Dec. 26. When is the real release date?! Spottedstripe(Talk2Me) 18:37, 15 September 2007 (UTC)
- Amazon says December, I think, while some other sites say January. Vicky thought the book would be out in October because that was when she was touring the U.S. again, but she wasn't sure. I think we can take October off of the list. My guess is that the date is the December one. TakaraLioness 19:22, 15 September 2007 (UTC)
- My best guess would be the Amazon date too. Before Metros deletd the Dark River article, I had added Amazon's release info, but it was still removed. Bella Swan 14:57, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
- Same thing about Warriors Refuge. I've heard both October and December. Are both Warriors Refuge and The Dark River going to be released Dec. 26? Spottedstripe(Talk2Me) 21:35, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, I think so. I think they'll be released on the same day, just as TLW and TS were. TakaraLioness 21:50, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
- Oh, OK. I thought so. Maybe book 3 of the manga and Outcast will be released on the same day too. Spottedstripe(Talk2Me) 23:47, 27 September 2007 (UTC)

I've just had a thought. Usually Canada gets the books first. So people are going to be putting up spoilers early. I looked on Chapters.ca, but it's not on their yet. So be warned on spoilers, at least I have ideas for Christmas persents! (My birthday's in 16 days, I had no ideas left.) Griffenflash 17:24, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
Correction, Warriors Refuge is listed Dec. 26, but Canada will probably get the books early anyway. Griffenflash 17:41, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
- Oh, are you a resident of Cananda? Spottedstripe(Talk2Me) 00:59, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Warriors (box set 1-3).jpg
Image:Warriors (box set 1-3).jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

- Uh, OK, does anyone know who posted the image in the first place? They should have an explanation. Spottedstripe(Talk2Me) 00:58, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
- I put together a rationale. Nothing complicated, but I'm fairly sure it should meet the requirements. Kitsufox 12:54, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
- I figured I'd put this here because it applies to almost all Warriors books, but I've added rationals to all the images that were marked as not having rationals on their respective pages. ~ Bella Swan 20:32, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
Vandalism
Okay I was gone for a while but did vandalism seem to increase while I was gone? ClawClaw 15:36, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
- Oh and on a different note, as much as I hate to say it, Metros did a pretty good job formatting the article
- Heh heh, ditto. Spottedstripe(Talk2Me) 01:54, 17 November 2007 (UTC)
Clan Page
I'm sorry if someone has already said this, but what happened to the page about clan information. I can't find any links to it. I think it should be included, or maybe I missed something. Icegram 21:21, 28 October 2007 (UTC)
- Well, we figured everyone would know by now, but if you can't find it, then it must've been deleted. One of the Wikipedia admins thought that it wasn't really encyclopedic (which is really stupid because I thought it was! I used that page a lot!) and they put it up for deletion. It must've taken action recently. I don't know the specific situation with it, but I think that's basically what happened. §ροττεδςταr(Talk|Contribs) 22:46, 28 October 2007 (UTC)
I say we should rebuild it. Make it a bigger and better article that wiki admins cannot delete it. WikiClan should unite. ClawClaw 17:31, 29 October 2007 (UTC)
- If you want to have the article exist again, you'll have to take it to deletion review. Metros 18:58, 29 October 2007 (UTC)
- I'm a Sysop on the Warriors Wiki. I'm interested to know if there's anyway I could get a copy of the information that had been collected already. I read the deletion discussion and I ask that it not be posted strait to the fanwiki is it's... as disorganized as many seem to consider it. But salvageable sections and verifiable fact could easily be included in the fanwiki in the proper locations. Kitsufox 19:49, 29 October 2007 (UTC)
I have it copied in notepad, I could give it to you. CrowstarCrow callsTalon Marks 21:04, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
Font Size
Okay, this may be an obvious question but does anyone know how to make font size larger? ClawClaw 17:37, 29 October 2007 (UTC)
- Where? Do you mean by increasing the zoom on your browser window? Or do you mean in terms of making section headers? Or something else? Metros 18:59, 29 October 2007 (UTC)
I guess on my browser... ClawClaw 16:03, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
- All you do is click on the tab all the way at the top of your page that says 'view', click text size, and choose your size. ~ Bella Swan 01:16, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
Some info we could add
A couple days ago, I went through the First and Second Erin Hunter chats, and found some interesting things that we might want to add the the aricles.
From the first Erin Hunter chat:
- The forest the Clans live in is loosely based off New Forest
- Some of the books are on the New York Times bestseller list
- The herbs and their uses are taken from a book written by Nicholas Cuppler, a sixteenth century apothecary
- There is a Lord of the Rings influence
From the second Erin Hunter chat:
- Vicky says her favorite Warriors book is The Darkest Hour
- the Tribe of Rushing Water shows what happens when two different religions encounter each other, 9/11 related to this
- a theme of Warriors is nature vs. nurture
- Bluestar was originally called Bluestone, but her name was changed so it wouldn't sound like the Moonstone
- Warriors is on Audio CD, starting with Starlight
So there! Shrewpelt 22:09, 4 November 2007 (UTC)
The first stuff has been touched on a few times. However, the second stuff is new.
- I don't see how we could work that in. It would probably be reverted as fancruft.
- I don't think that's too important...
- Hmm... I'm debating this one... I can't really recall instances of that...
- That would be an interesting sidenote to her section in the character page.
- That should be in, maybe as "Warriors is a novel series that has been published in audio CDs" or something. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Crowstar (talk • contribs) 21:10, 13 November 2007 (UTC)

WTF!?!
The Firestar's Quest Article was deleted! 4.239.216.218 22:09, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
- Well yeah, it has been for a little while now. But I don't remember if I was around to witness it being deleted. So for that, does anyone know why? §ροττεδςταr(Talk|Contribs) 22:50, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
- See Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Firestar's Quest. According to your contributions, it looks like you were around while it was being discussed (the AFD was open from Oct. 26-Nov. 4). Metros 23:15, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
'Blustar Special Edition'
Whatever someone keep putting up that says something about a Bluestar Specail Edition or something, please stop putting it on the page because there is no source on the internet or in books that I have found so far. You can put it back up if you have a refrence other that what you heard at a book signing. Thanks ~ Bella Swan 13:22, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
- I believe the only source for this book right now is a comment by one of the authors indicating an intent to write it. I do agree that this is not grounds for the book to be included in any official information. Kitsufox(Fox's Den) 00:41, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
- Agreed. We don't know if this is just a plot idea being thrown around, or not. Anyways, there are so many Warriors books planned, it probably won't be out until 2009.
