Hey Kesac, I am sorry about the Nader article. But it's sort of a matter of principle at this point. This article is being hounded by sock puppets. [[User:Astruc|Astruc]] ([[User talk:Astruc|talk]]) 17:57, 28 November 2007 (UTC) |

Ashatnga
Changed your stub categorization for Ashtanga. It relates to Yoga, not martial arts. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.183.109.63 (talk) 00:08, 4 October 2007 (UTC)

List of Jewish astronauts - To be "speedily deleted"- WHY?????
I created a page of "a list of Jewsish astronauts", and as soon as I pressed "save page", I received a notice saying "this page will be speedily deleted", because "it is too short" and "ït contains no useful information" or words to that effect. This is not so and I appeal to you NOT to delete it. It is useful information, like the lists of Jewish sportsmen etc., albeit smaller. Mind you, it's bigger than the list of Israeli astronauts - a total of one. It will be nice to see this page left in place. This is my first attempt at creating a list. I know it is not technically set up quite correctly (I will try to improve it), but as I said, it is my FIRST attempt. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Colin marks (talk • contribs) 22:50, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
- When you created the page, all you had was category links, no text at all. This falls under the speedy deletion criteria, A3. If you need time to work on the article, you can create the article in your userspace, for example at User:Colin marks/List of Jewish astronauts, and move it to the mainspace when it's ready. why?
why did you call for the deletion of the article i posted? what difference does it make whether or not it exists? — Preceding unsigned comment added by CaptainChaos199 (talk • contribs)

BioMAJ
Hi Kesac,
I'm wikibm- the user who created the BioMAJ page. I put up this article is not for advertising BioMAJ. This is a research product from INRIA, the French National Research Inst of Informatics. We have been receiving a lot of questions about this from a lot of researchers all over the world. That's why I created this article to explain a little bit about BioMAJ which is an OPEN_SOURCE project.
Hope that you won't delete it this time.

How.....?
Please explain how you A - saw my message to anon IP to which you appear to have no connection and B - Saw fit to blank it.
A implies you are wikistalking me and B is just plain out of line. The message wasn't for you, you had no right to blank it. Exxolon 18:27, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
- Your edit summary "Go away" threw up a red flag. Kesac 18:28, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
- As a side note, you may want to read WP:CIVIL, some of your recent comments have been very incivil. The message I blanked was a personal attack. Kesac 18:30, 26 October 2007 (UTC)

Thank you for continuing to revert vandalism on my talk page. This is a long-term vandal with a lot of sleepers though, so it might go on for a while. east.718 at 02:28, 11/12/2007

Glass insualtor page deleted
User-friendliness at this site leaves a lot to be desired.
The pics I posted concerning the glass insulators page I submitted were, for the most part, my own pics I took of my own insulators, specifically for releasing them so anyone, anywhere could use them for anything.
I tried to simply state this when I submitted them but found the system in use to submit greatly lacking in simplicity of use. Due to a busy schedule, and lack of time to delve through pages and pages of insturctions, I THOUGHT that signing these pics as being avaliable for use by anyone, for anything, taken by myself, of my own pieces, would make it very clear they were not copyrighted. Obviously, a simple check box making a statement to this effect would be a great help. Instead, for some of the pics I ddi upload, the checkboxes (tags - whatever) limited me to notbeing able to satisfactorily label them as to what they actually were. I was given full permission by my friend to use these pictyures in any way I saw fit for educational purposes - including postibng them to the Wikipedia page I was submitting. There was not a suimple way opf stating this as the tag options are pre-defined without an option to change what they say. The instructions I rememebr reading made it sound as if one of the boxes (options) of the tags needed to be chosen for the pic to be used. I was not sure why there was a box where I typed the pics were my own, of my own pieces, etc. since it seemed a tag had to be used and, truthfully, I did not have the time - nor do I now - to wade through the lengthy pages of information you make people wade through in order to contribute. Even getting to this link to leave this message was a 3 click/link/path instead of simply putting a "Reply" link into the original message that told me the pics were deleted.
Even if the pics in the article were not appropriate - which may have been the case (???) as I was not 100% certain of whether or not my message included with them was all that was needed, certainly the historical data I supplied with the pics was something which, since it was original and therefore not under any copyright, is applicable to the subject of insulators in general. The historical value these man-made devices served has been greatly unnoticed and therefore, what better place to include it than in the Wikipedia? The modern twist the outdated glass devices have taken is certainly worth recording since it is something which is noticed worldwide by thousands of people.
As to being relevant to the insulator category - where else would it go?
I did a search, just to see what other sort of things were in the Wikipedia. I deliberately did a search for things which the general public considers to be vulgar. Surely if an entire page is given to cusswords such as F***, is not the historical role the insulator held worthy of recognition?
BTW - I have no idea what the url was to the page I submitted. I have too busy of a schedule to have tried to wade through all of this. It was nmuch simpler to do a search for "Glass insulator" on the home page. Now there is no mention of it when i do a search for "glass insulator," and the page for "insulator" has totally deleted everything concerning the historical aspects of insulators (and some of this was info which IO contributed a couple of years ago and has been included on this site since then - why is this info, now, all of a sudden, something that is no longer important?"
BTW - here is a user friendly way of replying to me: lbrewer42@embarqmail.com
copy and paste this in an email program
seri9ously, you really need to get someone from outside of the system, who is familiar with teaching/making complex systems easy to understand (this leaves out a Microsoft employee), to make the Wikipedia easier to sumit articles to. Pages and pages of instructions; 3 links when one is possible; already formatted options (vs - here is a list of single options, check those which apply); etc. will help people be mo0re apt to want to cotribute and then we all win. The lifestyles people lead today do not allow for a manual just to offer information. I know this incident has greatly discouraged me in wanting to submit anything (especially since all reference was deleted - even from the past 2 years!).
Thanks, Lee
What do I gotta' do to make you want me baby?
How could you? I'll have you know that a lot of people want to know about me, you are being totally unfair!!!

About the image reduction request template
How do I remove those or do those go away on their own because I have since then complied with said reduction. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Satsu Ryu (talk • contribs) 00:27, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
