POV edits to Regent University

I have reported you as POV-pushing in your edits to this article. I highly recommend that you read the Wikipedia policy on neutral point of view. You cannot delete well-sourced information from an article no matter how much you disagree with it. --GoodDamon 16:38, 29 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your editing

Please discuss any contentious edits IN ADVANCE on the article's talk page. Your current editing style is leaving you open to charges of wiki abuse, and you may be blocked for this. You will need evidence of collaboration not confrontation. Thank you, Ian Cairns (talk) 16:44, 29 November 2007 (UTC) (PS: I have no interest in the article, and am not even in the same country)[reply]

Your positive edits to the Regent University page

First, let me welcome you to the Wikipedia community. Your contributions to the Regent University page have done much to improve it and I encourage your continued participation in the project. As you are a new editor, it is common (for all of us) to at first not be aware of all of the core policies of Wikipedia. Although your contributions are positive, you should remember to avoid edit warring as a sterile exercise. I've been guilty of doing that in my time and have always found it more productive to discuss changes on the talk page vs. (say) deleting an entire section. Secondly, although your contributions were mostly accurate, you need to be sure to include verification of this information. If you go look at the current state at the page, I think you will see I incorporated most of your additions but a) included verification and b) rewrote some of the sections in a neutral voice. Verification, neutral point of view and no original research are the three core values of Wikipedia. Look also at the article's history page to see how I carefully explained all of my many edits.

Again, you have contributed well to the article and you are most welcome to continue. Bone up on these core policies and you will find that working in Wikipedia doesn't have to be (and shouldn't be) a contentious affair. Thanks. ∴ Therefore | talk 21:52, 29 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Regent University edits

Please check the edit summaries and history before making edits and adding duplicate information. Also, please source your additions, especially if you are word-for-word quoting, or it must be removed immediately as plagiarism. Collectonian (talk) 17:54, 10 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

However, *please* continue with your additions to the article as you are contributing essential, missing elements. Thanks! ∴ Therefore | talk 18:08, 10 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
