Damon Amendolara, also known as D.A., is an on-air sports radio host for KCSP radio. Amendolara graduated from Syracuse University in 2001 with a degree in broadcast journalism.

Career

In August 2004, Amendolara became the host of the morning show at KCSP. Previously, he was an evening anchor for KCSP, since the launch of the network in September 2003. He is also, frequently a guest host on WFAN in New York, NY. He worked at the ESPN Radio affiliate in Fort Myers, FL, from 2001-2003, where he hosted The D.A. Show, and was the play-by-play announcer for the Fort Myers Miracle (Minnesota Twins minor league team). Also while at ESPN, he hosted the SportsCenter updates in the afternoon, and hosted the pregame/postgame shows for the Florida Firecats of the Arena Football League. On December 8, 2007 Amendolara was given an on-air tryout with WXYT, the sports station in Detroit, MI[1]. This tryout comes with the expiring contracts of morning hosts Jeff Deminski and Bill Doyle.
