Garden City High School is the public high school in the affluent town of Garden City, New York. The current principal of the school is Dr. Frank Banta. The athletic teams are known as the Trojans. They are known for their excellent athletic achievements in lacrosse, field hockey, football, and baseball.

Advanced Placement
The Advanced Placement Program is an internationally-recognized program administered by the College Entrance Examination Board of Princeton, New Jersey. It consists of college-level courses and exams that give high school students the opportunity to learn a subject in greater depth, utilizing analytical reasoning and disciplined study habits, and to receive advanced placement/or credit in college.
Sports
Garden City has always been known for its excellence in athletics. Garden City High School lacrosse, field hockey, and swimming are one of the few top teams in New York State. Other sports teams such as the football team and baseball team are known for their excellence.
