Revision as of 10:04, 15 December 2007

Reversion of "Mysterious Man"

Actually, Unknown is NOT a translation. The original japanese was literally "Man of Puzzles", "Man of Enigmas", and so on - something they continued with "The Enigmatic Man". The ROMANIZATION is Unknown, yes - what they decided to call him in America. Like changing "Divine Rose" to "Rambling Rose" - it's NOT a translation, it's a full-sale change. That said, the "lit, "Enigmatic Man"" that 204.whatever is using IS valid. As long as he doesn't call it the English name (which doesn't really exist, anyway), then it's fine.KrytenKoro 21:25, 16 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

lol, I NEVER said it was a translation. if you are refering to the

"Enigmatic Man" is a fan translation. "Unknown" is the OFFICIAL TRANSLATION. I did not put that there, that was put there by either Geg or Urutapu. and by the way, do you know what "Romanization is? it would mean something like this: kanji spelling - 謎の男, Kana spelling - なぞ の おとこ, Romanization(Hepburn Form) - Nazo no Otoko

I already know everything you just said, and Quite frankly, I agree with what 204. was trying to do. But they were going at it for hours and I don't think it should have continued the way it was going...I feel bad, but 204. was on the losing end, no matter how hard he tried, those others would always revert it back and then yell something at him or other and I just didn't want it to continue like that...But I feel for him...the ones you should've told this to would be the users who relentlessly kept reverting his works; the users "Geg" and "Urutapau" Aoikumo

You actually did revert him quite a few times - that's why I posted it to you. I didn't post it to Geg, Urutapu and friends because, honestly, they don't seem to listen to anybody but themselves, so I didn't feel like it was worth wasting my time.KrytenKoro 02:17, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

actually, I only reverted him twice =P. Oh ok, don't worry, I see what you were trying to mean by "Romanization" now. ah, I see...at least we agree on one thing, about those guys...it's sad don't you think, people should have a more open mind on these things, but you're right a waste of time...it's sickening though...

Good job!

Allo.
Just wanted to say good job on coming up with so many (quality) Tekkaman Blade pictures! (I was sooo tempted to say "Teknoman" pictures. Soooooooo tempted! I know, I'm evil.)
Anyways, they really spruce the article up. Bladestorm 23:23, 24 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your name

How do you pronounce your name? Moji lists the following Hiragana/Romaji translations:

正 [あきら] Akira (g)

正 [しょう] Shou (s,g)

正 [しょうざき] Shouzaki (s)

正 [しょうじ] Shouji (u)

正 [すみたか] Sumitaka (u)

正 [すみのり] Suminori (u)

正 [せい] Sei (g)

正 [せいさく] Seisaku (u)

正 [せいじ] Seiji (u)

正 [ただかつ] Tadakatsu (u)

正 [ただし] Tadashi (g)

正 [ただす] Tadasu (g)

正 [つかさ] Tsukasa (g)

正 [なおし] Naoshi (g)

正 [のり] Nori (g)

正 [はじめ] Hajime (g)

正 [まこと] Makoto (f)

正 [まさ] Masa (s,f)

正 [まさかつ] Masakatsu (u)

正 [まさし] Masashi (g)

正 [まさじ] Masaji (u)

正 [まさずみ] Masazumi (u)

正 [まさつぐ] Masatsugu (u)

正 [まさむね] Masamune (u)

正 [まさる] Masaru (g)

正 [まなか] Manaka (f)

正 [もとむ] Motomu (g)

As a beginning Japanese student, I don't recognize most Japanese names at a glance, but I have noticed that Moji lists lots of name translations of Kanji that aren't used anywhere else. So my guess would be one of the standard readings Tadashi or Masa. Is that close? Thanks! --64.149.39.108 05:38, 8 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
