Tales of Joujouka is a book by moroccan painter Mohamed Hamri. Published by the Capra Press in 1975, the press also published Anaïs Nin and Henry Miller. Hamri was the only Moroccan published in this chapbook series. .
It is a collection of the tales and legends of the village of Jajouka and its master musicians Master Musicians of Joujouka. The book includes "The Legend of Boujeloud" which relates the origin myth for the Master Musicians of Joujouka and their association with the diety Pan.. Translation from the original Magrebi is by Blanca Nyland.[1]
