Naoki Tanaka (田中 直紀, born June 19, 1940 as Naoki Suzuki) is a Japanese politician of the Liberal Democratic Party, a member of the House of Councillors in the Diet (national legislature). A native of Kanazawa, Ishikawa and graduate of Keio University, he was elected to the House of Representatives for the first time in 1983. After losing his seat in 1996, he was elected to the House of Councillors for the first time in 1998.
