Why does this category exist?

How do these women satisfy WP:BIO? Is having sex on film sufficiently noteworthy to merit inclusion in an encyclopedia? This seems absurd to me, particularly because the vast majority of their articles are self-promoting and contain little if any information. There are exceptions to this, such as Jenna Jameson, who seems sufficiently well-known in a pop-culture sense that I can understand why she might have an article here. However, I highly doubt anyone will remember her in 20 years, so even in this case, I wonder how she merits an entry in an encyclopedia. 151.203.18.206 19:47, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
