It took place on January 9 2005 at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico in San Juan, Puerto Rico.[1] The official theme song was "Race Against Time" by James Johnston.[2]
The main event was an Elimination Chamber match for the vacant World Heavyweight Championship involving Triple H, Edge, Chris Jericho, Chris Benoit, Batista and Randy Orton, which Triple H won, last eliminating Orton after delivering the Pedigree and pinning him.[3] The main matches on the undercard were Kane versus Gene Snitsky and Trish Stratus versus Lita for the WWE Women's Championship.[1]
