Trivia
- The episode title is a play on words for the story of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.
- Phoebe discovers that Chris is the future son of Piper and Leo in this episode.
- Although Wyatt isn't supposed to be sociable in this episode, he was seen playing with a demonic baby in the episode Little Monsters.
- Zack uses Piper's power to freeze, but her freezing power does not work on witches. Most likely due to good witches being unable to freeze other good witches. This might mean that Piper's powers are more powerful now, and that she is now able to freeze anyone, as seen in the Season 7 episode Ordinary Witches, where her powers were able to freeze both herself and Phoebe, in Hulkus Pocus, where she is able to freeze Billie and in Generation Hex, where she "blasts" Christy.
- Because of Holly Marie Combs's pregnancy, her head is cut off first and spends the most time away from her body.
- This is the first episode both Gideon and Magic School have been introduced.
- In this episode, we learn that Prue, Piper and Phoebe went to Magic School as children, although Prue was five or six and Phoebe was just born when Grams bound their powers to protect them from the warlock Nicholas. We also learn that Prue, Piper, and Phoebe have met Gideon before but do not remember.
- The people who were beheaded at Magic School don't die.
