Al Walser is a singer and songwriter from the Principality of Liechtenstein.[citation needed] His real name Alexander Walser-Rothschild (first biracial Liechtenstein citizen).
Al speaks fluent English, German, French and the German-based Schwitzerduetch/Liechtenstein dialects. In his teen days he became the first radio personalty (Radio Liechtenstein) in his home country.[citation needed] The former Fun Factory member (Al recorded the bands hit albums "THE NEXT GENERATION" and "ABC OF MUSIC") left the band after numerous Number 1 hits in Asia and Europe to focus on his solo endeavors.[1]
As an individual, Al came into the spotlight when pop star Michael Jackson was searching for a family home in Liechtenstein.[citation needed] His family has been close to the Jackson's since the 1970's and often spent time with Michael's brother Jermaine when the family visited Al's home country. It is not surprising that Al would become a singer and songwriter following in the footsteps of his grandfather, the legendary Franco from Congo. Now residing in California where he is furthering his music career Al has just released a single "African Queen" produced by London Thompson featuring rapper Que.[2]
His music is a mixture of R&B, Pop and Caribbean elements.
His work as an artist and Goodwill Ambassador has been generating a lot of buzz in the U.S. bringing him into constant contact with high profile celebrities, politicians and business people.[citation needed] As a recognized face for his country in the United States, Al Walser is a big factor in helping to foster relationships between the two lands.
He currently lives in Los Angeles and travels constantly, helping to enhance the land and people of Liechtenstein.
