Serebro (Template:Lang-ru, Silver) are a Russian trio, who finished third in the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 in Helsinki with the song "Song #1". The band was formed by Max Fadeev, a prominent Russian producer.
Eurovision
As Russian presenter on Eurovision Song Contest 2006, Dima Bilan, reached second place, Serebro went right to final.
They sang as number 15 in final. They got 12 points from Armenia, Belarus and Estonia, and 10 points from Ukraine. The winner, Serbia, gave them 7 points. Serebro received third place at the Eurovision Song Contest 2007, with 207 points. Serebro later said: "We are happy because of our third place. But, the most important thing is that we weren't there because of ourselves, it was for our fans, Russia and Russian people".

Singles
Soon after the Eurovision, Serebro released "Song #1" as a single, which contained 13 different versions of "Song #1", as well as an extended version of the video. Their debut album is expected in autumn 2007 and will feature the second single, "Song #2 or Дыши (Dyshi)" ("Breathe"). The band has stated that there will be songs in both Russian and English. Serebro's third song is called "Song #3 (What's Your Problem?)" and it leaked on the internet on October, 5.
Krasnodar Tour
While touring in Krasnodar, the girls' hotel room was broken into and was stolen from. The singers' regret was the loss of the black dresses they wore at the Eurovision Song Contest. For the trio, the dresses were 'a kind of a talisman'. Along with personal belongings, two digital cameras that the girls used to capture moments of their Maldives holidays were stolen. Among the photos are some revealing ones made during a moonlight swim. The Russian girls worry that the pictures might appear on the Internet.
Awards
Serebro won a World Music Award in 2007 for the best selling Russia artist. Unlike previous eastern European winners of a World Music Award (e.g. Ruslana from Ukraine in 2004 and Dima Bilan for Russia in 2006), Serebro did not perform at the event.
They also won an MTV Russian Music Award in 2007 for "Mejor Debut" which translates in English as "Best Newcomer".
