Pigs in Space was a short [[sketch]] that ran in between the main storyline on [[The Muppet Show]]. Sketches always started aboard a fictional [[spacecraft]] called the [[Swine Trek]], a fictional name that was pulled directly from [[Star Trek]] (the TV show). On the Swine Trek, the anouncer would always begin with "time once again for...Pigs...In...Space...". The crew consisted of the captain, [[Link]], first mate, [[Miss Piggy]], and [[Dr. Strangepork]].
