This project was created so expert Xbox 360 and Xbox users can share their knowledge with people that want to learn more about this topic or people who understand how to make great articles and then show newcomers how to do the same. It is for die-hard Xbox players to learn about new games and to also share there knowledge to others. In short, we want the Wikipedia community to get the best out of this Wikipedia: Wikiproject. This project deals with all articles related with both Xbox and Xbox 360. We hope all readers and editors enjoy and learn something from this site.

Hi all,
As editor of this Wikiproject I want to welcome all of our new members who are joining WikiProject Xbox 360. Currently our page is under major construction and it may seem things are not in place but they soon will be. We are currently add/moving new information around to fit the site. As new members join, we ask that you leave the editing alone for a short time, until the site is complete. As a member of this project, we have to be responsible for cleaning up and expanding all Xbox and Xbox 360 related articles. We also ask, that if a dispute comes up with another member, that you address it in the discussion page. That way other editors can contribute to the dicussion and that we're not having a reverting war all day. Being understanding and civil is very important on Wikipedia, lets remember that. Announcements for Xbox 360
24 January: This WikiProject was created!
11 March: The hit video game Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas will be coming out with it's new sequel Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas 2. It will be coinciding with the 10th anniversary of the Rainbow Six franchise.
2 December: It was annouced that there will be a Call of Duty 5. It has been confirmed that Infinity Ward will not be developing the game. It has been confirmed that the game will be developed by Treyarch. The game will take place during World War II and will not be a "Modern Warfare" game like Call of Duty 4. This is going to be a big upset for many of the fans of Modern Warfare, supported by the fact that many professional reviewers and hardcore fans feel the WWII theme has been used too many times.
TBA Late 2008: Halo Wars will be soon coming out for Xbox 360 in late 2008.It was reported that Bungie Studios will not be developing it but instead by Ensemble Studios. It will be a real-time strategy video game that will take place in the fictional Halo series universe and it will use species and vehicles seen in previous Halo games as well as new units.
