I have no problem with adding people to the list at the end of this article, but PLEASE consider putting your additions in alpha order, instead of just taking them on the end. Thanks! Ckamaeleon ((T)) 00:48, 18 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I agree that any adds should be in order, but I was thinking recently that this wasn't a very useful list. The festival has a 30year history and there must be nearly 100 acts every year. Do you hope to list them all? I would enjoy seeing a listing of the six New Folk winners by year. -MrFizyx 03:44, 18 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why don't we do that, then. I think if the list were to be fully complete, it would need its own article anyway....and I don't know that there is a place in Wikipedia for 300 acts (although I know many are repeats). Wikipedia isn't really an almanac. But I DO think your suggestion about the yearly new folk winners is worht pursuing. Ckamaeleon ((T)) 11:13, 18 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have created a category for New Folk finalists. I have included 26 articles so far. They are nearly all New Folk Winners in addition to being finalists. If you start an article on a new-folkie please add them. Thanks. -MrFizyx 01:35, 6 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
